Little Barndoor Salmon

Fresh salmon
Butter
Sliced onions
Freshly ground black pepper
Salt
Milk

Melt butter in shallow pan, brown sliced onions slowly, place seasoned fish (either whole or in filets) on top of onions, brush top of fish with butter and pour milk around the fish. Place in reflector oven and bake until fish is easily flaked. Baste occasionally with the pan juices.
